Dr. Carmel-Ann Mania, D.C. is an experienced and dedicated holistic chiropractor, in practice for 25+ years in Hackensack, NJ. Dr. Mania received her doctorate from the famed Palmer Chiropractic University in Davenport, Iowa and later acquired her Certification in Chiropractic Family Primary Care through the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.
Dr. Mania’s hallmark of care is treating the whole patient, rather than simply focusing on a current problem or complaint. Her expertise extends beyond traditional Chiropractic practice and includes:

- Mind/body connection

Dr. Mania has presented a number of seminars and workshops in recent years to civic and community groups like NJAWBO, the Lions Clubs, Gilda’s Club and the parents and faculties of several area high schools. She has lectured to college and business students on health issues, professional conduct in the healthcare arena and Cranial Sacral Therapy demonstrations. Dr. Mania has also been sought after by her colleagues to present classes on Pediatric Chiropractic Techniques and Family Practice Principles, most recently, through the Academy for the General Practice of Chiropractic.
Dr. Mania is a Past President of the Don Bosco Prep Mother’s Guild, and a recipient of the “Mamma Margaret Award” for Service to the Don Bosco Prep Community. She was also recognized by the John I. Crecco Foundation and received a Medal of Honor for her work with 9/11 responders in 2001. She is married with 2 grown children and a collie dog.
